I played it when I was younger on my snes/nes/sega genesis emulator on my apple laptop that my brother gave to me..

its one of the first final fantasies..
you start off in a village i think..
then you go into the woods..
you meet some girl..
she has an axe i think..
you use the axe to cut down the trees.
the guy you have has brown hair.. the girl has blonde hair
i think his name starts with a B.. not sure..
but you start off in woods..
idk what creatures u face.. jellies perhaps?
I'm pretty sure it was final fantasy.
I just remember cutting trees with my axe in the woods.
I didn't get too far in the game.

its also known as final fantasy US and supposedly a 'dumbed down' final fantasy

OP if u like the style of using different items to open new areas etc you should definitely also play 'Lufia 2' and the 'Golden Sun' series if u have not

yeah i loved lufia and the fortress of doom so much
and i did play golden sun on my game boy sp several years ago.

Used to play this game when I was a really young kid, like 4-5 years old. I still have some great memories from that game, like the soundtrack and this guy named Tristam or something, I used to think he was the most badass.
