Farm Adamantoises for Platinum Ingots, Long Guis's or Shao Lon Guis for Dark Matters, upgrade your weapons and relics, When upgraded fully with Genji Glove + Power Bracelets, fang can hit over 2000 Strength allowing massive damage, Try farming Orphans cradle for things to sell, 10K per is a good haul.

For gear upgrade it , and if you need money farm Adamantoises and sell the platinum ingots you get 150k a pop.

Once you do that a bit go farm either long guis or shao lon guis for Dark matter.

I farmed quite a bit, Im done the game I just need a little bit more dark matter to finish off some gear,

you can beat the adamantoise easy even at low level
summoning your eidolon immediately puts the adamantoise crippled on his side, try to buff your characters with haste/bravery/faith first right before he attacks (hopefully you have enough HP to take one stomp)
call in your eidolon, debuff him with deshell and deprotect, get rid of the eidolon asap and switch to a class for staggering him (i think i used com/rav/rav and may have switched to rav/rav/rav after a turn or 2 attacking him) you want to get his stagger to 999% then switch all your characters to commando (or the strong ones if the others are lacking in that area)

you should be able to kill him in about a minute or less doing this, i may have missed something because i haven't played in a while but its how i farmed them

Try farming 5 maps back from Orphan, the monsters there are weak and can drop items worth 5-10k, in groups of 5 per battle. Found it easier than farming Adamants @ 1min Ea.
