I've been looking in to this game since I enjoy the other ff games as well as other mmo.s ... Is it worth it to play

now is a great time to join. they are adding 6 new subclasses - warrior, monk, dragoon, white mage, black mage, bard. The combat and crafting systems are improved a lot. The major con at the moment is that there is not a huge player base, and there is a little lag because the servers are run in Japan. They will fix the server lag when 2.0 is released, and the player base will grow over time. Feel free to join me and the linkshell im a part of : Paradox - Cornelia (will be Durandral once the server merges occur). the player base will also "grow" on each server because of the server merges, and also they are adding new end game content with 1.21

few simple pros and cons:
Pros : graphics, mature players, fun boss fights
Cons: lag, small player base, lack of end game content

Oh cool I tried 11 online but was really weird and have yet to try this . Is it like really low amount of players like if ur running around the world will u are people outside or is it that desereted

the main city is fairly populated all of the time, but if you go out to a particular area to quest - you may find there are only 1 or 2 people there questing as well. But that's not a huge problem because at the moment you can be power-leveled, and there's a decent population of 50s. Also there will be even more people running around everywhere once the server merge goes through and 1.21 patch comes.

May i ask how the PvP is in this game? I may be wrong , but i don't got the impression that they put alot of effort into PvP.

That would be true..because at the moment there is 0 PvP. Though I believe they mentioned they are going to implement it in the future. Also i forgot in my earlier post, there are actually 7 new subclasses, not 6 - forgot paladin

this game has gotten WAY better and worth playing now. def get it and get ahead of the ps3 newbies that join us later this year ^^

how about is the leveling a new char ? is it solo based or is it group based leveling?

atm its pretty much this: lvl 1-30 solo or get Powerleveled. lvl 30-40 group or powerleveled. 40-50 group / powerleveled.
