For one of the achievements, you have to capture a don tonberry in Bresha Ruins 100AF. did anyone else have such a hard time as i did? It took me roughly 3-4 hours and 30+ encounters to finally get the monster crystal.

battlemania is your friend 1:1 in a 2 minute zerg

i was too lazy at the time to get the fragments lol.

indeed battlemania helps a lot, I actually encountered and killed him 6 times or so in about 5 minutes.

This was about my stats before capturing him. Just have the ecnounter rate up, capture rate up, and rare monster rate up fragments active and appear about 50-60% of the time near the cemetery area. Otherwise all you'll see is Munchkins, which you can run away from fairly easy.
