So the good news first. I was talking with a gamestop employee the other day, and he said that it will not be available for preorder simply because it is not going to be on disc. The game will be download only. This is good because that means that it is not going to be a limited stock release, also it will likely be cheaper than a remastered collection..my guess is 20$ for the remastered version.

Bad news- It's going to be download ONLY, meaning noone will be able to get a copy on bluray...which is unfortunate.

this kinda leads me to believe the possibility of getting the standard American release of the game, rather than the International Edition..but i'm keeping my hopes up for the international Edition

Bad news is games cost a fortune on psn. Was gonna download some game on their but psn sells game that are 1-2yrs old for release price which made me lol.
btw when does the remaster come out?

It should only cost 20-40 dollars..probably closer to the 20$ range...3 remade ps2 games costs 40$ usually, so my guess is 30$

No way will it be $20, its an FF game and this is square enix. The main reason the game is coming out is for the vita, it will be full price on the vita and probably $39.99 on PSN. No disc makes sense for ps3 considering they're just porting the vita release to psn.

It'll be 39.99 when it comes out, same with the devil may cry remastery they are doing, same with the halo 1 remake and same with all the remastery's they do, not full price.

i doubt it'll be 39.99 unless it includes ffx-2 as well...the hd updates usually cost 40 if they have 2-3 games on disc, a single hd remade game on the psn costs about 20$(resident evil 4 is a good example of that)
