I'm about to start this for the first time. Should I buy the guide for it on eeebay or shoot straight for it?

Edit: My ps2 is no where near my cpu so no gamefaqs.com

You don't really need a guide if you're playing just for the story, If you plan on doing all of the side stuff as well, you may want it, but even then ff12 does a pretty good job at telling you where to go and when to go there.

Like Pyroce said, if your just playing through the game dont worry about it. If you want all the gg stuff and all the extra quest and espers. Go get that book or move ur pc.

If You are starting it .... without having every played it and you intend to get ALL espers and accomplish ALL hunts as well as track down ALL the rare game .... YES BUY THE GUIDE if your looking for JUST the story Don't bother .....

BUT .... BEWARE THE GIANT ELEMENTAL BALLS EEEEEEK

look up the 4 chests you need to avoid for the zodiac spear
