Interesting. Are we talking about standard playthroughs or 100% playthroughs? From my personal experiences I'd say I've spent the most time on X; capturing all the monsters and completing everyone's sphere grid.

I think in terms of my regular first time playthroughs where my goal was just to beat the game, FFVIII took me the longest. Though to be honest, it's been so long since the first time I beat any that I really can't remember, though I'm sure it was either VIII or IX. My X file was like 90 something hours the first time through, but it was just because I played blitzball and never focused on the actual game so I dont' count that lol.

I got an interesting question for you, So a few weeks ago I was playing x. I defeated quite a few of the dark aeons But... I was getting anxious that I needed more captured hunts. Knowing me I like to keep everything equal balanced, So I'm wondering a question if you know if I can kill sin, capture the fiends inside, also defeating seymour, and if I were to leave sin, would I still be able to fight the last existing few dark aeons?? :D

I think the point of no return is the area after you kill Seymour. You can kill him and then return to continue hunting and fighting aeons.

this... never ending. One of these titles will add up more than the rest combined in hours played.

Think it's pretty obvious we're not discussing MMOs <_<
