I'm at the beginning of both games, entering Dollet on 8 and Dali on 9. (Just left the Ice Cavern and fought Black Waltz I)

I've played 8 multiple times, and have only played 9 once or twice. (The battle speed is never fast enough for me)


What should I play JSP? Help me out!




(As a side note, not listed on the poll is Zelda Skyward Sword, so that's always on option as well)

Skyward Sword, since it just came out and you've already played the other ones.

I like 8 more than 9 personally. But since you've played 9 less, i'd probably go with that. I voted for 8 though because I like it more.

Checked it out, thanks. My only issue with SS is stupid motion controller for everything, and that slow drawn out beginning of seemingly every new game.




I loved 8 (Hell, I have FF8 tattoos) but like I said, I haven't played 9 too many times like I have Tactics, 7 or 8.

If I ever do decide to ink my beautiful overweight body, I've always said I'll get something FF VIII-related. That's awesome dood Not too big on Zelda, so I'm gonna go ahead and say VIII for the same reasons I said in the previous thread; solid solid solid romance embedded in that one. I think it'd take a gun to my head to decide between VIII and IX but VIII truly is a seasonal game in my opinion. It has a certain kind of warmth that's hard for me to describe. Go for a Lionheart first disc runthrough or something.

I might do a lionheart first disc run. I never went through doing any challenges or anything. I always start off playing cards and getting as much as I can fast, then just blitz through everything.

That's awesome. I'll probably decide on one of Zell's combos or Angelo performing an attack or something, who knows haha. I've beaten the shit out of VIII more times than I can remember and I was still about 3 minutes away from starting up a file and getting Lionheart on disc one, I just can't get enough of it, plus it's been yeeeears. Let us know what you end up deciding on

I think I've decided to play Skyward Sword, but when it gets boring or I'm sick of it, I'm gonna play 9. I think after that I'll fire up 8 eventually and do a Lionheart D1 run at your suggestion. Never bothered it, but it'd be fun.
