"God, please help us sinful children of Ivalice."

So one of the greatest Final Fantasy's of all time begins, or so is to me, and the great journey of a whole new array of a way to play is introduced. I've played final fantasy for a long time. Maybe a bit more then I may care to admit, yes, I was there for final fantasy 1. Even one of the greats, like final fantasy 3 which was for sure one of the best as well. I must concede however that even though I love ff7 and ff3 THAT much, Final Fantasy Tactics takes the cake. The music, gameplay, options, and even the storyline to me was step by step immaculate. While there will be more, and there will be the ones before, this game defined the final fantasy turning point for me.

Yea no point whats so ever, was bored :P

It is easily the best game in the Final Fantasy franchise, by far. No game can even come close to it in terms of plot, character development, and atmosphere. It is really the only FF that has a strong identity.

Ugh, yet another person that doesn't even mention Tactics.  It's the best game in the series, FF Tactics for PS1.

Off the penis.

Yeah, I don't rate tactics. Boring story, Far to easy, boring world, boring character. When i play SRPG's i want an extreme difficulty level with great development.

It really did have truely exceptional music though. Also had a great amount of sidequests which really prolong the game and added to the mundane side.

I remember one i use to play that had characters with one life, so you needed to develop a very balanced team or in one battle you needed a new game. I never finished it (Would of been 9 or 10 at the time) it had a japanese title. Now that was a 10/10 game.

I only played it once, finished it and now it's in the closet with the rest of the games that I didn't care for.

It depends if you're playing Tactics Advance or the PSX Tactics (aka War of the Lions for PSP, although buying it from the PSN store is better since it doesn't lag)

- PSX Tactics is by far my favorite Final Fantasy

- Tactics Advance is utter trash, the two shouldn't even be related. The only similarity is the command-grid system, but otherwise there's no resemblence in quality.

Just came out for IOS, I missed this game so much. Such a great story in it and *spoilers*

Delita is the ultimate back-stabber imo.
