Bad. Liked the original ffs more. This one had too much running around in it and the only reason I didn't say very bad was cuz of the amazing cgs. Other then that the storyline is crap.

The story is event-driven, not character-driven, which will feel very different to FF fans. I like the battle system. Not nearly as dull as the turn-based menu system in other FF's. It's not a game you can play for hours on end though. It becomes somewhat repetitive. Start dungeon, navigate dungeon, beat boss, leave dungeon, next dungeon. There is a much wider variety of enemies than in previous FF's, but Square-Enix used too many recolors. It's like an offline MMORPG, because you actually have to train.

What, you actually liked random battles? Play DragonQuest VIII; you will grow to loathe them soon enough.

yeah, i played the game like all hell.. then i got back into WoW..
now i'm getting out of WoW (atleast until burning crusade comes out)
and gonna' play more of ff12.
anyways, i rate it very good.. it had me sucked in from the very beginning.. great graphics.. i love the battle system (still think ff7 battle system was > than it but anyways..)
nice storyline.. is a very long game if you play it right and go through all the hunts and shit.

well the random battles were kinda old but i dont like the new battle style I liked the origanal way of sittin ina line choosing your attacks and waiting to strike and i liked the graffics on FF7 the most duno why but they were pimp * I HOPE THEY KEEP IT THAT WAY FOR FF7 ON THE PS3 REMAKE smile.gif *

nope they don't keep it that way..
learned this quite awhile ago and i'm sure most other hardcore FF7 gamers knew that they are greatly increasing the graphics. wink.gif
