i tried ffxiv a while ago and was deeply sorry about trying it out....now im wondering if ffxi is where it is at? terribly bored with other mmos...is there a way for me to try out the game? pm

Yeah it's still good. The game has evolved quite a bit since the start, it doesn't play like it used to since the level cap has been upgraded from 75. But it's still a good game with lots to do. The trick is to find a good reliable group to play it with to have the most fun, it's not a solo game.

And there are probably a free trial somewhere, i'd check the playonline or ffxi site.

i regreted buying it after 5 minutes of gameplay, solely because the movement / camera was extremely foreign and unlikable for me...;/

^ Yeah, it's unlike any other MMORPG, definitely very unique. Not everyone is gonna like it, that's just the way it is.

imo you cant figure out if you like a game or not in 5 minutes . give it a chance its amazing

Oh I agree definitely. But if someone is gonna give up after 5 minutes because they don't like the feel, it's pretty hopeless for them anyways. I'd rather them just not play it.. we don't need people like that on the game anyways.
