is it true that xbox and ps players could play online together

someone tried to tell me this, and i find it incredibly hard to believe... in fact, i think he is mistaken, but i won't say someone's wrong unless im pretty sure of it ^^

Yes, PS2 and Xbox 360 play on the same servers, as well as PC. A lot of people think that PS2 is holding the game back too much though, certain things can't be upgraded or expanded on because of the limited capabilities of the PS2.

lol yes they play together. Pc Ps2/ps3 and xbox 360 are all connected its multi online

ffxi is playable on the pc/xbox 360/ps2 and i think ps3
