Ive been watching trailers and my friends telling me how good these games are and might try to start playing it. But idk which is the best to get? Looking for suggestions

ff13 on ps3 is good if want challenge...ok story and good looking game...battle system totally change at this so maybe not for beginner or maybe better if beginner to start with this when not used to easy one yet
ff7 on ps1 this game imo top 2 in ff series (90% comes from story) this one maybe for beginner.
ff12 also ok in ps2 this maybe after 7

13 for a challenge? You can autobattle the entire game, how is that even slightly challenging? Not to mention all you do the entire game is run in a straight line. Its impossible to get lost, or even explore.

7,8,9 are probably the most fun, 6 is a cult favourite. 10 is when the newest generation starts, but it is mind blowingly easy. 12 is ok, its when they introduced the combat changes which do bring the game down but the story is great and it does scream Final Fantasy.

I'd start with 7, start with the best. You can torrent it for the computer, buy it on psn. Etc etc.

7 is only the favorite for fanboys

6 is much better, folowed after that by 9

yes try auto battle all bosses...or vercingetorix...or long gui or shaolong gui...neochu etc there is many of them...wont work(if work thats pure luck)

all enemies have their own strategy to beat anyway

Yet its the top rated FF game on every poll.

And autobattle does work 90% of the time in FF13. The only thing you have to do for bosses is switch between paradigms occasionaly.
THat one guy can be 5 star'd with nothing but poison, and "Attacus" can be beaten with only two paradigms, and no healers.
Both Guis are dead before they would give you any trouble.

Start with 6,7,8,9, or 10 in any order.

I agree with you here on the 6. 7 is fun its insanely popular cause its good. Also Final Fantasy Tactics, great great strategy game with amazing story.

If you are affected by the graphics stick with ff 10, 12, 13. If not, go for ff6, tactics, ff2 and 9 for old school fantasy.



This game is hear and dear to me. Love for so many reasons, but Lockheart has it down

My oh my, not one single mention of FF Tactics. Tactics is one of the most challenging, and it has by far the most realistic story. It's not the typical bad guy wants to destroy the world story. There is a lot of emotion, and so many sub plots in the game, it's truly the best story wise.

If it were me I'd say start with either Tactics or 8. However, 6,7,8,9,10,Tactics are all good ones to get started for a FF newbie.

best game was FFX and X-2!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLAY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! other good one w/ awesome graphics are FFXII and FFXIII. Oh and i forgot..... FVII is good also
