i hope they do 13 was a pretty good game

they are talking about being released this year in both japan and us/europe

there wer actually a whole bunch of announcements from square this morning

What the hell happened to that FFXIII Versus that was supposed to be PS3 exclusive? I guess they gave up on that shit.

FFVII-2 would be nice, but then again they been messing up on the FF series lately.

13 was/is a fun game with several ff concepts missing. The game being geared towards fighting more than story definitely or having a complexly oddball story. Mixed on the -2. Never played ffx-2, but heard more negative reviews. They need to pull an ffix type of game to bring back its original fan and lessen the drive to pick up the unfamiliar fans.

However, can you imagine if they remade ff3/6 and ff7 with the gameplay/graphics of ff13. That would be a major hit, best selling games hands down (as long as they dont change anything (pearl to holy crap).

Versus isn't appealing, not looking towards "reality" based games. Create another game brand of these type of games.

final fantasy xiii was actually a decent game, i enjoyed the gameplay, required a lot of strat or a full grasp of which paradigms to use, ya it strays far away from traditional rpgs, but hey its nice to see a change once again, makes the game seem more fast, and the ending left it open since the heroes technically start their lives all over

I'm with everyone who is hoping for this sequel to not sucking.
Otherwise, let us all agree on the last greatest Final Fantasy was IX, X and above are shit but Versus XIII looks bad ass.
