Currently at the Hectoncheir Edilion (sp off) battle. For the life of me, I can not finish this. Read thru gamefaqs walkthru. Which suggest sab/sab start, then go into rav/com or sab/sen. Follow up by "some" med/sen. I find myself med/sen almost the entire time.

During his Looming Wrath stop, instead of having time to attack or debuff him, I have to heal fang. I can't get past this dude even after 1 hour of trying and dying.

Any advice on this battle? Also, I've gained enough CP, but should I go for more. Fang has about 3,100 hp and Vanille has 2,600 hps.

Any help would be great, as the walk through makes this battle sound easy...

i failed a couple of times when i first did this; sab/sab -> sab/sent -> med/sent -> when he starts charging switch back over to sab/sab -> med/sent or sab/sent after when he starts attacking you

Thanks for the tip. Sab/Sab works for the first round then Fang stops. I level'd their respective areas to max or close to duel him. I think you need about 3k life with Vanille and 4k with Fang to be able to tank the damage and keep attacking.
