Four of my friends and I are looking to get back into Final Fantasy XI. We thought that it'd be a fun and challenging experience to start fresh with new accounts and to see how far we can take them.

Our plans involve a six man group and unfortunately there are only five of us. We were wondering if there are any former FFXI players, or even players with experience in other MMOs who would like to join us on our little escapade.

We plan on tackling as much of FFXI's end game as virtually possible with only six people. Which, if we are as good as we claim to be, should be a pretty huge chunk of it. I don't mean to say that we're some sort of ultra meta-gaming nerd force, but we want to get shit done.

Btw, the game as well as all the expansions is only $10 on steam.

How much would you be playing?

We are all in EST. We are hopefully going to be playing fairly often.

If I had to pull a random number out of my head I would say an average of 20 hours a week together but it could go higher or lower depending on schedules and other things.

Should be cool, not sure how much end game is possible with just 6, but definitely all the missions would be possible especially since the level cap is raised now and there is no level down type effect.

I was thinking of coming back sometime soon, when do you plan on starting this? I have a character on Fenrir that I wanted to level, not sure what server you are going to. But I had a character I made and never really touched, he might have a subjob but that's probably it lol.

We would like to start as soon as possible (when we have a solid 6th).

6 people is more than enough to do a large majority of end game.

We plan to play on unicorn but don't even have the characters made yet.
