just started playing this.
noticed the dress spheres and what not and i was wondering.
should a certain character be characterized with a certain dress sphere?
like paine with warrior or rikku with thief?
does it really matter?

its like any older final fantasy it doesn't really matter. you can go off of initial stats if u want to see what'll be best for each class i guess..

well you don't get the choice to pick what stats you want to level up ya know?
it puts the points into whatever it chooses or something.

You might as well keep them how they are.

Also its pointless to do too much leveling in that game it isn't very deep. Might as well just play through the story and be done.

FF7, FF6/3.


Even though 7 doesn't have the best leveling system around, the monsters are varied and and there are quite a few magic skills. The real reason I suggest this is because the story is truly interesting, unlike X-2 which is just a bad spin-off.


6 is Classic gameplay like ff1 or ff5 with a better story


Other than that ff9 I'd say.




I've played them all, but I truly find that the ones I like the most and the ones I want to come back to are the ones with good story lines and dramatic plot twists that you actually don't see coming.

This nigga know his shit. FF10 has the best leveling system though IMO, and 12 had a solid system too. Needless to say Tactics is the best.

Tactics IS the best but most people that talk about FF's skip over it cuz its RTBG-Strategy and not RPG. I Loved that game and if I ever get a Psp or a ps3 I'm getting it off Playstation network. My copy is scratched to hell from playing it the past 11 years.
