alright i dont take credit for this, i simply got this off the gamefaq boards, but this DOES WORK, ive used it myself. Dont spam this topic if u think its cheap or what not, not everyone likes having to level for an hour or two before even being able to survive in the next section of the game. Dont get me wrong i LOVE ff12, but this made it alot funner, in just one night i leveled my characters from 32 to 60, and then didnt have much trouble with the rest of the game, but still made it someone challenging still.

id suggest stopping at 60, for the sake of keeping it fun, and not just DESTROYING everything.
but if you wanna just leave it on and buy more remedies every day or so, be my guest, this is an excellent technique.

some notes before hand that arent covered clearly:

- if you defeat the monster, he comes back, hes a rare monster so he can respawn, dont feel left out if you have already killed him
- it can really take A WHILE to get him to spawn, just keep walking back and forth from the crystal area all the way to the ancient doors.
- you cant see him from an entrance point, you have to walk into the T section of the map (where all the paths intersect)
- if you need any help pm me, but only after reading this first k?

theres the thread from gamefaqs, somepeople asked some of the questions you might have.

but i have it pasted below as well

A few topics have been made about this strategy but I thought Id shrink it down to one topic so people didn't have to read so much to find out what to do. Based on Albedo Piazzola and OnceUponAB10nd3s ideas they came up with this strategy that Albedo Piazzola submited to gamefaqs. But it could have been rejected so it might be a good idea to bump this topic so it stays at the top or possibly tagged it since this strategy works 100% of the time. This is the strategy that Albedo Piazzola sent in but I changed it so it now works 100% without the leader getting Doom cast on him. Good Luck!

"I have submited this as a cheat/exploit, here is a copy of the submit.
Exploiting Negalmuur’s Endless Spawns.

This is a trick to exploiting the endless spawning of Ghast by Negalmuur to gain endless Levels, EXP and LP.

Step 1: Preparations.

-Get all of your characters to at least LV. 30
-Equip them with the most up to date weapons and armors.
-Having all 3 mist charges is recommended because of the MP boost you get.
-A short while after defeating Mateus you will be able to buy remedies at loot shops. Buy 10-20 depending on how long you want to level up.
-Get "Remedy Lore 3" on the liscence board. It allows remedy to cure Doom.

Step 2: Gambit Setup.

Character 1 (Party Leader):

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge

Character 2:

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge

Character 3:

Self - Haste
Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self – Charge

Step 3: Clear the Stillshrine of Miriam

Finish the whole stage at least to the point that the “Sword of Judgment” is lifted from the path in the “Ward of the Sword-King”, this is required to be able to clear the whole “Ward of the Sword-King” of any enemies.

Step 4: Hunt for Negalmuur.

In “Ward of the Sword King” which is the corridor at West from Save Crystal (go bottom from Save Crystal), kill all enemies there, exit and re-enter. Keep re-entering it might take up to 20 or more tries before you encounter Negalmuur but each time you leave the area make sure it is totally cleared of ALL enemies.

Step 5: Reap the Rewards.

During the battle with Negalmuur with the setup above mentioned he will summon a Ghast every 4-8 seconds and your characters will keep attacking them only because they have less than 3,000HP and Negalmuur has over 18,000HP with each kill you get 1LP and about 340EXP per character (Assuming you have a party of 3) also this can be further enhanced with accessories that multiply the EXP and LP gained he will endlessly summon the Ghast. Remedies will only be used when Doom is cast on the leader. If any other status effect is cast on the leader like Petrify, Esuna will be used. Because the other characters have Decoy the leader having Doom cast on him will be rare so not to many remedies will be used. Once you have gotten to the point where you want to stop DON’T kill him leave the room and save in the save crystal in the next room and re-set your game this will let you encounter him in the future.

This Cheat was fine tuned by the people on the Final Fantasy XII boards, I thank all of them for there help."

My problem is, I can't seem to find a Foe: HP < 3,000, only Foe: HP>=3000, which will make you snuff negalmuur too. Checked ign and it shows no listing of a "Foe: HP < 3,000". Am I missing something?

Try searching around gambit shops or you may just not be in the part of the storyline that lets you buy it just yet.

For those trying to find the rare monster Negalmuur, rather for killing him or using the auto-levelling guide, here is a 100% working method to get Negalmuur to spawn.

Negalmuur's spawn is based on a timer. This timer begins the instance you enter the Stilshrine of Miriam (either by coming through the front door or loading from a save crystal).

The time it takes for Negalmuur to spawn is 30 minutes. There is no reason for you to kill anything inside his room, nor do you have to exit any number of screens away. Simply load the game, and wait.

After 30 minutes, enter his room. It should appear empty (the Blood Gigases on either side of the hall will be gone and no red dots will appear on the map). If this is not the case, take a few seconds to clear the room. Once it is clear, exit and reenter. Do NOT exit two screens away, as this may cause resetting the room.

Negalmuur is a regular rare monster and not part of the Hunt Club Side Quest. This being said, if you happen to kill him at any point in the game, do not fret. He will respawn. Just leave the shrine (or reset the game), and retrace the steps of this guide.

This method has worked 100% of the time for those who have tried it (myself included). If there are other methods of spawning Negalmuur, they will need research and confirmation. Those based on luck (people who claim to have him spawn in five minutes) seem to be nothing more than false information. I, personally, have tried spawning him at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 minutes, to no avail. This includes clearing and not clearing the room, exiting one and two screens away, and whatever other opinions people seem to have about spawning him. There is nothing concrete in those theories to suggest they have any relationship to his spawning. The only correlation to his spawn is this 30 minute timer, which works like clockwork, no pun intended.

If you have questions about spawning him (which, if you've read this, you shouldn't...it's pretty basic steps), post them here. If you have other suggestions for a spawn method, post them here as well. I and others will try them to see if they work. Until then, I daresay this is the only "sure-fire" way to encounter Negalmuur.

Please keep this topic bumped (meaning don't let it fall to page 10) for all to view.

works everytime

also i suggest adding the gambit
Foe: >10,000 haste
right after remedy on party leader it helps make u level faster

The Foe: HP < 3,000 can be found the very same place
in the room - Walk Of Reason (Bottom Right)
One of the four chests, should you not find go back 2 screens and back again.

Good luck smile.gif
