There's not alot of content once you get to cap level which is the big gripe.

There are bugs to be sorted out.

The world feels empty.

I'm a level 50 pugilist and lets just say that their are a few parts in the story that get exciting but horrible overall considering you have to wait 4 levels at to continue story.

The Guildleves are so repetative.. Their the exact same thing over and over. Even at higher level the rank 40 leves. The only difference is clicking on a light to make the mob pop up to kill which i won't go into detail. Or just kill somewhat larger monsters but in the exact same fashion as you did for rank 1-30 leves.

NO CONTENT is a downer amongst everything else ;/

What newtrick said is true. It is still rather addictive but overall there is a lot of stuff that needs to be fixed. The target system is my biggest problem. But there will be many many updates between November and December and I am hearing a lot of good things. In all honesty I would stick with it until the first expansion. :) I am hoping for some cool implements. Newtrick being level 50 is Ishgard opened at a certain level or is that coming with an expansion?

Depends on how you want to play.

If you're planning long term, now is the time to make gil.
Once the markets become easier to navigate, prices will come down and your hard-earned gil will be more useful.

The lack of content is pretty obviously based on WoW's release model success.
WoW was pushed and released early to compete with ffxi that had been out for months in the US(And longer in Japan)
Much of its content was lacking, there were major bugs and the game was virtually released broken.
Well what happened when they fixed it, huh? $ $ $

If you look at all of the unused space, and listen to the npcs that allude to what is to come... You will get the bigger picture of their future release.

My bet is that the first major "Expansion" will be free. It will give SE a good image and will lock in many of their lost loyal customers.

It's probably gonna be just like how FFXI was. Limited content at the start, but more will keep being added in over time. FFXI is just so rich because the game is like almost 9 years old now.

I think it's gfg, every MMO starts off really bad then comes the patches... Get your gil up before everyone starts to play after xmas.
