So this isn't anything special, but I believe that with newer video cards, maxing your AA will actually drastically improve performance and get rid of jitters and chop. I have an nVidia Quadro FX 3700M 1GB on my laptop, which is essentially the same exact chip as the 8800GT. I was using 'resolution' buffering and was suffering so bad that I really almost didn't want to play. I set my AA to the max 16X setting and it fucking blows this game away now. No problems.
