just started is it better to upgrade weapons like crazy or wait until a good weapon comes around? just curious

I only started upgrading mine when i killed the last boss - chp13.

just upgrade each 1 alittle bit. but dont waste ur time going full out on each 1

Upgrade one weapon from each of your characters to tier2, and make sure to * it. E.g. upgrade Fang's Taming Pole to a *Venus Gospel. Turning Vanille's Belladonna wand into a Malboro Wand is good for farming/cheesing Death.

Your base weapons should be:

Light: Axis Blade
Hope: Hawkeye
Fang: Taming Pole and Pandoran Spear
Vanille: Belladona

For the main story, you don't need to upgrade. If you start making the cieth stone missions, it's recommended for you to upgrade your weapons.



I would change the Axis Blade to Lionheart.

you only get Lionheart in Ch. 12, which mean's you've skipped Gran Pulse when you had the chance.
A faster Light is wayyyyyy better than one with R.I.Stagger. Trust me.
1 - you can get stagger off of accessories
2 - you really only need it for one fight (gigantuar)

You can go back to Gran Pulse once you get the lionheart, since you have those portals. And i beat gigantuar without the instant stagger thing so..
