if i upgrade the whistlewind scarf starred to the aura scarf does it still keep the same attributes? and it continues to progress?


i mean in general with any item. if i upgrade it with the special upgrade does it keep all the previous parts?

with aura scarf you get first strike, but if you upgrade the aura scarf then they turn into nimbletoe boots

Aurora Scarf + Sprint shoes (auto-haste) makes for an easy 5-star. Put it on a COM like Fang or Sazh and they will Blitz the enemies straight away, meaning most battles take about 2 turns.
The only character I bothered making nimbletoe boots for was Lightning as a SEN (invulnerable with Elude), as well as to boost her ATB with the Axis Blade.
