Is actually pretty hard.
You don't gain enough level's through the actual storyline to progress easily through the game. It is like it is expected for you to grind.
Story wise it is really good and it is always fun to go back and play some SNES classics.
I am about half way through the game now. Anyone else play this one?

I played it a long long time ago, I dont think I finished it, I'd like to one day though.

only hard part about that game is the inital climb back down the mountain after you become a paladin

Really? I found that part to be easy as hell. One fight gains about 4 levels.

its easy if the rest of your party is leveled up, but if not.......

great game, played it about three times but i finished it only once. yeah, it's hard but not THAT'S hard, more random fights and 1 - 2 lvls up gonna make ur game a lot easier.
