ugh
iso tips
im sorta underleveled
i have a hard time with the regular fights in the area
or does that realy even matter?
i absolutely cannot beat him

I had trouble with Cid but destroyed Bartandelus at the end of ch 11.

was opposite for me, i destroyed cid got 5 stars on first try but took like 10 trys to beat bartandelus

Basically

When the battle starts, use the Evened Odds Paradigm ( Med + Sab + Syn_

When he's offensive - Use Delta Attack (Com + Sen + Rav) and switch to Solidariry ( Com + Sen + Med ) or Combat Clinic (Med + Sen + Med) when you need to heal.

When He's Defensive or Recovering - Use Relentless Assault Paradigm ( Rav + Com + Rav) Although it may seem as though you're not doing sufficient damage, you'll find that chain gauge gets a really nice boost.

This is how I beat him.
