by how easy the story was.... completed in 41h with like 3 hours of grinding. when credits came I was like wtf this it?

ofc I have yet to complete the missions, I'm hoping for a bit of a challenge there.

Imo square made it a bit too noob-friendly cause it went to xbox aswell (not complaining though since I don't have a ps3 ^_^)

If you're looking for a challenge, there isn't really any.

Try finishing the game without grinding at all, that would be a challenge. :P
At chapter 11, walk through the entire field skipping all the missions and encounters and go directly to the cave.

I did that...

Last bosses were a joke, the only trick is to use the right strategy.

still wouldn't be that hard imo, and I prefer the grinding, one of the most fun aspects of final fantasy, getting stronger getting those ulimate weapons and armors (well no armors in XIII :( ) and then killing those hard bosses.

when ff xiii came out I was rly hoping that there would be smth like dark aeons in ffx. or smth like other eidolon useres you need to defeat, that would be badass

This game is more challenging than any of other FF series.

The only reason other FF was a "challenge" is because you literally had to grind your ass off to beat bosses and monsters with uber HP.
That's THE only reason why it's hard, or "challenging".

Think about it. This game takes more strategy and is more challenging.

doesn't take more stategy then the other ffs, the only time I had to think before fighting were eidolon battles.

I remember my first playtrough of final fantasy x, I got slaughtered on mt gagazet by seymour and those 2 wanker (biran and yenke iirc), but was fixed by doing some grinding, which I like doing.

same with all the other final fantasies, but with xiii i just ran trough it with no troubles whatsoever.

sry I don't see the challenges compared to other final fantasies.

€: and you can't even make a decent challenge of your own :(
no grinding, well I only grinded a couple of hours, doubt it will make much of a diffrence
no upgrading, I upgraded my first weapon to the next lvl just a little bit before the final boss
1 char only, I don't even know if you can aim harmfull spells at yourself (haven't tried yet), but even if it works you get healed after every battle, so killing your teammates every times is a pain in the ass.

only challenge I can come up with is using another char then fang or light as teamleader
