Figure I should make something like this since I know a large amount of you who post here bought the new ff13 game released today (mar.9). Anyways, I'll keep this thread bumped with my gameplay updates along with likes/dislikes that i come across along the way.

6h19min into the game and Lightning+Hope and Sazh+Vanille have just been seperated. - left my game on during work @ home and afc'ing a while.

I'm 5 hours into the game and are where you are :|

We'll I left it on overnight so I'm 14hours in lawl - just at the place where Sazh+Vanille meet up with Hope and I assume are trying to catch up with lightning.

I'm wayy ahead

currently trying to kill Lightnings edilon (Or whatever they are) bloody impossible

Someone tell me the best way to go around it

You just met up? Have you destroyed the fal'cie?

odin yields to people who heal wounds... learn to use libra on every new enemy... on eidolon battles it will give you special techniques for defeating them and for regular enemies it will make the AI party members and your auto-battle tactic exploit the enemies weaknesses

for odin set up 3 paradigms

medic/medic
synergist/healer
ravager/commando

at the beginning of the fight use synergist/healer to get everyone protected and shelled, then when odin is defending switch to ravager/commando, and once he switches to attack change to dual medics

beat this battle in about 2 minutes using this tactic

edit: PS i am about 11 hours in at the beginning of chapter 6
