Is the game and the movie same storyline and all?

Advent childeren takes place after the events from FF7.

So if you want the franchise order => FF7 Crisis Core -> Final Fantasy 7 -> Advent childeren

damn i was hoping i could watch the movie instead of spending 40hrs to play the game

Not much point watching the video if you have not played the game yet imo.
Its one of the best games ever made , so it will not be a waste.

it may be one of the best games ever. but i really think that final fantasy have always had the most horrible starts in a game xD then after a few hours it begins to get exiting and if you start such and old game then you will maybe find it boring. such bad graphics nowadays

Well yeah you have to get into the flow first.
And its indeed very hard with the graphics but its possible if you can emerge yourself enough with it.

I am getting a PS2 soon to play a few FF's i have missed, it will be hard at first without a doubt

ff x has a interesting start tidus "this is my story"

Hmm with with one should i begin FF X or FFX II.

ff x is way better so start with it 1st
dont waste your time playing ff x-2 the story line is just retarded

So many people claim , still it does not get bad ratings.

Got a person where i can get both FFX and FFX-2 in one cheap package, so guess il leave FFX-2 for when i have absolutely nothing to play.
