I have both consoles. I use my 360 more now because of Halo, which I only play occasionally. Swapping consoles is annoying, but that's it. I don't care AT ALL about ps3 achievements, and I care a tiny bit about 360 ones.

1. Are there any differences besides platform?
2. Is Versus PS3 only?
3. Is it likely the release date will change from March or is this more solid than most of Square's dates?

Any info would be appreciated, as I'd rather ask the community than read a million threads with different content.

1. Yes, that the PS3 controller is THE controller to play FF with. And 1080p.
2. Yes.
3. I'd say that the date is pretty much solid seeing as japan is already playing FFXIII

If i had the choice i would play on ps3 but only having a 360 i will stick to that i will enjoy getting 1k on this game tho on 360.

I'd get it for the PS3. I only have a PS3 but even if I did have both I'd still get it for the PS3.

Xbox is the reason there are certain limits on FF13 and I hate Xbox for that.

Besides FFversus13 wont be on Xbox THANK GOD so I think that will be a fantastic game. (not that 13 wont be great itself)

there is no difference between the consoles other than ps3 will prob be on one disk and 360 will be on 3-4, i really wish they would just install a blue ray player into the 360 so that they don't have to make rpgs like 3-4 disk long

either way from what i've heard that the game is extremely linear until halfway through and i doubt it will be very long and prob won't have very many sidequest

1080p does me no good. My tv is ancient and shitty. It only has yellow/white connectors, not even a red.

you will probably have a hell of a time reading the dialogue and menu with a SD tv

I would play on 360(besides the fact i dont have a PS3 and never want one). I dont see a difference in the controllers, the release date will be final since they have had so much time to work on it and the Japanese already have it.

Not always solid. I've seen many a release date change.
