how do they determine the monster level? it isnt the avergage party level...is it semi random or does it just depend on the monster/mob

i need to get dragons fangs for the lionheart, im fighting a bunch of trex things and its lvl 32-33 and i need it to be 20-29

anyone know how the monster level works or is there a better way to get the dragon fang...im on disk 3 btw..and ive beat the game before, just bored while drinking so me n my friend are playing it again and cant remember what to do

The level of monsters is equivalent to your level. If they drop an that you need, but can only drop at a lower level, go kill the Tonberry King, and get the skill that allows you to cut the enemy's level in half.

I didn't really worry about the levels I just went to "Island Closest to Hell" and "Island Closest to Heaven" for my Lionheart pieces.
