I beat the ds version while watching tv and remember the NES version being extreamly hard/impossible without lvling a lot. I didn't have to level at all in the ds version and it was just easy. I know the NES version is way harder but who agrees...?

Nullified Vote because there is no Final Fantasy I on the DS :headscratch:

However it is true that all of the original games are harder than their remakes, which i thank for that, because i cannot stand grinding.

I only played the nes version, but I don't remember it being hard at all.

i just found out this is possible and actually if you max to lvl 50 you can beat it solo white mage and solo thief but i havn't seen anyone do this solo black mage on the nes version which is way different from all the others

yeah the old versions are harder cause as we have all seen over the years games have gotten easier and not as challenging

I think you mean origins on psx. That was kind of sweet. Fast also. Nes was a pain in the ass.
