I personally enjoy RDM as sub for BLM, but you will get more invites with WHM sub :/

Sub sch when all you have to do is nuke. It's better overall for damage.
If you are soloing or something rdm is better since you have more tools like gravity available.
Sub whm if you are planning on dying a lot and want reraise without having to pop an item.

Fast cast ftw omg omg i get an elemental boost from dark arts... but if you get 1 spell off in the time i get my 2 off im out dmg you...

RDM only i have yet to use SCH for a sub.

and that thing about getting invites... idk where you get invites to partys now days with blm... unless its a burn party and then the sub doesnt really matter at all its all about the spaming of spells.
