Will exploiting the job system and raising my job levels to 99 make this game easier?

Currently I am at the Dwarves Island and getting owned.

job to lvl 99, yes. it will bring your number of hits to maximum, so youll be doing a ton more damage.

Second question, which I just realized last night after I got the second set of jobs...

I chose the jobs Warrior, Thief, White Mage, and Black Mage. Will this be sufficiant for the entire game or will I eventually need to switch (excluding any moment where you need a full mage party for whatever reason and 9999 hp)?
nn to level them all to job level 99 if I don't plan on staying with them.

Yeah you can beat the game with any jobs. Lvl 99 is overkill, and it shows it if you decide to hit it, :P
With a white mage, and at least 1 or 2 decent fighters, you can ace it. i however would switch out thief for something better, i havent really seen much use for a thief in the early final fantasies. [especially ones with job systems, rather than FF1's Job upgrades]

Thanks for the help.
I chose this party style to resemble my FFI party.
And as I type this I am grinding my job levels and have almost reached 99 on all of them. :P
