Can anyone tell me once and for all what's the difference between all those final fantasy...
Which ones are the same and which one are not!

What were the titles of Final Fantasy on NES.
Was it only Final Fantasy Mystic Quest?

Then came the SNES,
Are there only 1,2,3,4,5,6?
And, in those 6... which one are the same? I know there was something like that...

7,8,9,10,10-2,12... I'm OK.

I tried figuring this out myself with GameFAQs...

Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy IV Easytype
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Final Fantasy USA : Mystic Quest
Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy VI

FF1 - NES
FF Mystic Quest - SNES
FF2 - SNES america
FF3 - Japanese release of SNES America ff6
FF4 - Japanese, snes
FF5 - Japanese, snes
FF6 - SNES America

Don't worry, I know what this source is worth

However, if that's true.
This is illuminating me!

FF1 (Japan-1987, Norh America-1990)
FF2 (Japan Only)
FF3 (Japan Only, but was remade in North America on the Nintendo DS with a remake in 2006)

Those 3 games were on NES.

Now here comes the SNES

FF4 was out in 1991.
But here in North America, it was only the SECOND.
So Japan FF4 = North America FF2

Final Fantasy 5 was only released in Japan.

Final Fantasy 6 was released in Japan and in North America.
But here, it was only the third.
So FF6 in Japan = FF3.

I don't know if I lightened some people... but...
That reflexion did that to me.
