Why is final fantasy 7, even if its used, goes for $60+
and 9 goes for like $30+, even if used.

Because 7 is overrated, making the demand higher than average and supply lower than average, since most owners prefer to keep their copies.

I got VIII for $10 on eebay. Good times.

you should try to get a black cover they goo for way more

yes it is "overrated" but it doesnt cost more because its "overrated". it costs more because it is more well liked than ff9 and probably sold 10-20x as many copies. but then it comes down to theres more copies so why shouldnt it be cheaper? and then we go in circles but thats just how it is

This, I fucking love VIII, for some reason i have 2 copies of VIII, 2 of IX, and i lost my copy of VII .
