I just finished FFX and im deciding on which FF to play next. I played and beaten every1 except 1,2,4,7,8,9, X-2 and 12. I currently own
1 and 2 for gba, X-2, and 12. I plan to buy 4 for the ds and emulate 7,8. and 9.

I have three questions:

1. Which FF should i play next, 1,2, X-2, or 12? I'm thinking of playing X-2 just because its a sequel to x and has my favorite battle system, but i really want to see how 12 works. What ever the choice, i plan on spending about 100+hours to make a perfect file(what i do for all my rpg games) so its one or the other

2. Is ff4 ds really worth the 35$? I think 3 was one of my favorite ff games just because it was so basic and had kick-ass graphics. In your opinion, do you think 4 is better then 3 because if it is, then im probly going to buy whether you like 3 or not

3. Is 7,8,9 only on ps1? Im thinking on buying ff7 for pc but is it different then ps1? Has anyone else used an emulator for these games because I would like to know if it runs perfectly fine

Well, thats pretty much all I need to know so plz share your thoughts

X-2 had a good battle system but it was too girly and had a "teenie-bopper" feel to it. It was ok.
FF12 was REALLY good. If you're going for a perfect file expect to spend about 200 hours haha. I completed the main story and a few things but far from perfect and I had 96 hours logged.

FF4 DS is well worth the $35. Its a MUCH better story than FF3 but FF3 is very fun because of the job system.

FF7 and FF8 are both officially released for the PC. They are NO different than the playstation versions. I have no experience with emulating them sorry.

- start off with FFXII, it's too good to be left in pending
- FFIV has a New Game+ feature, definitely worth it

FFX2 might be your perf-file aim, as it has NG+ and tons of fun stuff to do

oh go for 12 for sure its very unique in the battle system as its all in real time also nets some of the hardest bosses in final fantasy history i think namly yiazmat and omega mark 12 yiazmat is at least a 3 and a half hour battle not to mention the bazaar and unlockable weapons hunts rare monsters hunt club just many things too do 100 hours would be an amazing feat for a perfect file getting to lvl 99 is easy tho the abysteel bats are amazing for this the best weapon in the game tho is knida odd how u get it but overall do this game u wont regret it
