I'm thinking about buying FF12

How is the battle system and how does it compare to other final fantasies?
Is it worth buying?

Real time battle system kicks random battle's asses.

The real time battle system is really cool. You could pretty much set up gambits to run the entire battle for you so it can get pretty lazy if you let it lol. I really enjoyed it though. I miss turn-based or ATB battle systems....not many....if ANY RPG's still have it. *waves goodbye to the good old days*

it's very awesome it differ's from other final fantasy's as its all real time u walk to the monster and engage no cut battle scenario just normal killing it's like classic rpg meets lord of the rings game

also in the beginning in the estersand beware the werewolf's they will kill u very easy but on a side note u can kill them nice with a quickening

also beware elementals and enitite's i learned the hard way about them 1-2 hours time gone for not saving and accidentally using magic in the vicinity of one
