I beat FF8 game like one week ago.
I decide to remake a game in which I would take a walkthrough, get all secrets and GF I missed so I would be strong enough to beat the hardest boss of the game...

I am at the end of disc one.
I kill Edea...
The animation freezes...

Think I'll have to buy a new game

What pisses me is that it was OK like one month ago


Do you guys think that buying used video games on eebay at 25$ (shipping included) is cool...

Or

If I should get a brand new one into a video game specialized shop at 40-50$/game?


Can I trust eebay sellers for the game's condition?

I think it's fine, just find a trader with a high enough feedback score. What a coincidence, I just eebayed FFVIII myself (last week).

If you own a physical copy of the game it is LEGAL for you to own a backup copy of the game in case such a thing as damage to the disc happens, so why buy another copy?

I dont think you can run "backup copies" or Burned copies on a Ps1, and on PS2, he'd have to have the newer slimmer version, and also Modify it to be able to play burned ps1 games :/

As for buying on eebay, yeah go for it i bought Final fantasy tactics on eebay, and it was near perfect condition

Agreed. I had FFVIII on the emu but i was like, fuck this, so uncomfortable. I might have to play through FFVII on an emu because FFVII goes for 50 on eebay.

Cost me 40 bucks, but it was into a video game only store... so I had to move... cost 10 bucks of gasoline

But... being able to play on a couch... worth those bucks...
