10 was better. I liked 12 but 10 was just amazing. I LOVED the sphere grid leveling system.

the final fantasy series died after 10, look at 10-2 i HATED that game, asfor 11 it was all online so it was a no no, and i hated 12

12 if you want a game NOT for the story, but to be able to kill some wicked bosses with massive amounts of HP.
10 if you want a long game with a story.
