Well I liked FF8 the best.

Not just for the Graphics, but for the monsters levels raising while your chars levels were raising.
But the best thing that I loved the most, was the fact you can finish FF8 with your characters
at their STARTing Levels. It has been awhile since I have played the game, but below is how I
achieved this feat.

I have, finished it, only 1 monster that can not be beat in the game @ starting levels
The basic thing how i did this was easy.

First, when you get your GF (think it is that), and before you go to Dollet with Seifer.
You go down to the beach (outside training area), and while there, just get attacked,
figure out the Exact number of hit's it takes before they die, then reset (make sure you
save b4 going to the beach).

So now when you go to beach, you just keep on taking on fights, but do not kill for
the xp, you have to card them just before the final blow. Keep doing this to get
AP up on GF.

Then after alot (long time) of killing, then head off to Dollett.
When you get there, keep Seifer Alive and kill off other 2.
Now you can level up Seifer to 99, while drawing cure-curaga, blizz-blizzaga etc
and transfer them to the other 3 chars.

This is awesome, and lvl8 your chars have Curaga/Blizzaga/Firaga. Then you are set
to complete the game with TOTAL ease.

There are already like 15 of these threads lol nn another one

Also you kinda left some of the best games in the series off the list (as "other" I guess? but certainly FF4, 5, and 6 deserve a spot over FFX2 lol)

Agreed. I cried a little. As much as I LOVE FF7 the series didnt begin there.

VII easy. Storyline alone rapes all the other FF games.

Hardly.
6 > 7
8 > 7
4 > 7
5 > 7
even the Legends > 7.

6 > all though.

Great story, superb gameplay & Kefka, 6 has it all except graphics, which, given the time it was released- the graphics really aren't bad at all.

Quite honestly, I have only bothered playing from FF7 up, and my friend played some of the other ones, but the one he was playing (can not remember title) was kinda boring, looked like an old game from the 80's.

Honestly, my favorite one is FF8 because it has believable graphics, the story is amazing and in-depth, and it was challenging, but not extremely difficult

Furthermore, the characters were in-depth and players became attached to the relationships between the characters

Overall, I think the whole thing came together for me

Also, triple triad was just ridiculously addicting and fun
