as you can probably tell from the title .....im trying to dodge 200 lightning strikes in a row to get lulu's blah blah...

i managed 138. then gave up after not getting more than 50....in sucessive tries.

does anyone have any good tips for this? i was going about an hour and a half , and i think my concentration just flew out the window

i took 20 in a row. then i pressed the pause button and waited in 2 mins. then i made 20 more. i didnt go that the save spot and save or go out of the lightning area. i just kept doing 20 and then pause. then it was pretty easy :S just keep making pauses when you get tired of looking at the screen

PAITENCE. Thats what it boils down to. I would count them get up to 14x then get distracted and BAM get hit. Just walk away take a break and come back renewed and try again.

treid stopping after 100 then 50's then 20's.....

then i tried breaking for longer times....

i really cant be bothered to do it anymore. 113 was my best since i posted....

be a place where the bolts come down very fast. then you will keep awayken then you can find a rythm

i went just above the halfway house place... alothough

i dodged 210 bolts but on the 100 i healed my chars because i battles all the fiends.....bad idea...

i then did another 210 right off. YEY

after you do it once it somehow gets easier! idk why

yay gz and yes just at the start of the second area where the house is must be the best place to dogde. its very easy there and the breaks arent too long between each lightning. but what do you mean with healing your characters? didnt you use no monster encounter items?

the first attempt..i got to 80 dodges but every time i ran forward into the open area i would fight a monster or 2, and lulu ran out of mp. i had no ethers so i went into the halfway house and saved :S
i then did the same but with 130..making 210 dodges, but because i saved the first 80 were screwed. shame!

then the second time i did 210 straight off but i just fled every battle. got ambushed twice i think, but meh, just fled

Well, did this with the aid of "No Encounters".

Went south-east from the Inn, just past the footpath.
There is a pattern there with lightning bolts.
the pattern runs in 3's. 1 then 1 after each other, then slight pause and another.

If you get the right area, and get yourself into the pattern (with visual aid)
you would achieve 200 fast.

My record is 543, then failed (basically paused after 40 counts just to get my
eyes set again.)
