I just got ff7 for ps2 (only one they had) I wanna know....is there swords...is this Like hell gate london guns//swords? combo attks giv me the whole thing biggrin.gif

Correct, but you can (with a little fiddling with your PS2) you can play the PS1 version and also use the old mem card.
Myself and my friend did that the first time he bought a PS2, and managed to save the info on a PS2 Mem card.
