What are some of your most used strategies on ff12? and your choice of weapons?
what chars you like to use?

i only like balthier all other chars are stupid specially fuckin panelo and vaan, cant stand his fuckin voice in cinematics.

anyway that game woulda been a lot cooler if they had like theif classes and shit like they did in fft.

i agree the character choices blow..lol i like at least one badass in the group... and there are no badasses in that game!
balthier is as close as you get but hes a shrimp, rofl
i like fran and balthier the rest really arent so great, basch is okay, but vaan has better stats
edit: and i hate "classes" but i do like unique characters

I went through the entire game using only Melee characters all with white magic spells. Vaan Balthier and Basch.

I had to use summons on any ranged monster tho lol.

You could get that skill that can hit flying with melee though...
Forgot what it was called.

I used Vaan with a samurai sword, +5 hits every time with around 2k each. (used genji gloves)
That other guy, blonde hair and red clothes (ex-con) with excalibur/some axe that did low-high dmg.
Penelo with support white/green magics.
Balthier with a gun.

All axes.
Buy Bows for flying monsters, useless until later one when you MUST have them.
Learn all the healing/status spells as well as Haste.

This will get you through the entire game.

i like to have one ranged healer, then the other 2 melee :E

I use in main party:

Vaan (lvl 92)- Summoner/Sword type. Equipped weapon: Excaliber. Favorite summon: Zodiark
Balthier (lvl 87) - Black Mage type. Equipped weapon: Cloud Staff (staff of magi not found yet) Favorite spell: Scrouge
Basch (lvl 90)- Paladin type. Equipped weapon: Deathbringer. Favored attack: Telekinesis

My others are mildly leveled. They all have arise to bring back my tanks. Other than that, Ashe, Penelo, and Fran are only used otherwise for Mist Chains with bosses.

I used Vaan (with strongest swords I could get), Balthier (with axes), and Fran (with bows and magic).

I have no clue what my characters levels are though.
