does final fanasy 9 let you save your game before swapping disks? I soft modded my ps2 so i can only read 1 burned cd-r at a time i cant swap so i was wondering if i could save before end of disk and reload on new disk.

Usually almost any Playstation game that used multiple discs gives you the save option before asking you to change discs. That way if it gets fucked up when swapping the discs you don't stab yourself in the throat with the disc you just shattered.
