but more for leveling

I would go to the Glekina sunken submarine, and start morphing enemies. That is the best way to level up; you can max out your stats and gain great XP at the same time

nah best place to average out lvling vs materia growth is mideel's island in the forest only, if you go outside the forest the monsters are weaker ({not that the monsters inside arent weak) the headhunter give the best AP in game as a group of monsters besides the pots you give elixirs to in the crater and they also give really nice exp.

The best place to get levels and AP aside from the crater is Gameshark of course. Instant pwnage. .
