tips on beating ruby wep

and any ff8 tips on beating the end boss.

ruby isn't too hard. took me 3 tries to kill him actually, but i didn't know what i was doing. it's really just go in with the three chars and keep going at him till he throws 2 of em out of the battle, then hope the remaining char is cloud. unleash the quad-hits and omni-slash on his ass at that point.

the end boss is a joke if you can kill ruby. emerald is harder than ruby imo.

i dont see y every1 needs tips to beat ruby weapon but we i have a few and i did this at lvl 50 with could cid and redxii guy with no omnislash or kotr. tip #1 use ultima and comet 2 cant stress that enough those 2 moves killed him before i lost 2 people. tip #2 be lvl 50 at least. tip #3 have a few good lvl cure spells and a lot of x potions. well thats all.

the way i killed him was
go in with 2 chars dead
1 alive obviously
make sure u got mime on
junction kotr with hp absorb cast it and keep miming
keep final attack+ phoenix on just incase u die , should be pretty easy fight

I don't know, the final attack pheonix is pretty much useless if you are the only person. He gets healed by fire dmg and it costs a lot of mp.. just put final attack - revive.. less mp and you only need to revive yourself

For the end boss on FF8.
I traded in my Zell card I think it was for 99 heroes. (Make you invincible for a bit)
And another card for 99 auras.(Always able to use limit breaks for a bit)
Then I kept using limit breaks.
Easy.

it was ez for me, lol i had mime w/ counter so whnever he attacked me i would mime myself using elixers all the time and healed llike a mofo... its been awhile since ive played but i think i used the typical shit against him, double cut/ knights of the round/ omni slash etc
