Have beaten it w/o cheating (aka game shark or those other crap)

i heard you can use cait siths game over limit break but its very hard

lvl to lvl 50 use ultima and comet 2 i only had those no omnislash or kotr for me =( but really those spells OWN it i cant believe ppl say ruby weapon is hard i took it down in like 5-6 rounds now emerald weapon u might need to lvl higher or get kotr or omnislash emerald is hard.o ya party for me was cloud(obvious), red XIII, and cid and if u want to lvl get to seph good lvling in there or u can go and kill dragons easy kills and 1k xp per kill.

It's easy if you know what you're doing. Just kill off 2 characters before the battle and leave Cloud alive. Use materia to get his HP to 9999. Use W-Summon and summon KotR and keep miming it. Pair KotR with HP Absorb so that you heal your HP back to 9999 after Ruby counter-attacks KotR. Just keep repeating and it'll eventually die, although it'll take a while since the KotR animation is so long.

I think you can also use Quadra Magic with Bahamut Zero to avoid Ruby's counter-attack but I've never done it that way. KotR's animation may be long, but the damage is a lot more than Bahamut Zero's 9999.

I killed this dickhead in one go. However the move unfortuatenly took me 200 hours into the game. i Had to to use 8 mimesx 2characters and a counterattacks combined. I would gladly explain if asked.
