FF8's Monsters may level up as you do , but they dont take into consideration the magic you have junctioned
so no , even lvl 100 monsters arent difficult.

I disagree. If you learn the junctioning system the game becomes REALLY easy even when fighting level 100 enemies.

Just my opinion though.

FF9: Auto-life, Auto-potion and Auto-regen and you can basically let your 4 year old brother mash X the entire fight.

FF8: I dare you to kill a marlboro without a The End cast from selphie. If you don't have your GF's set up perfectly this is basically an impossible task.

Hasty conclusion: You're wrong. Have fun fighting red dragons, marlboro's, T-rexaurs, grendels etc in the underground research facility/island closest to hell

Well....a T Rex is easy at lv 100. I dont remember fighting any Marlboro at lv 100....so you might be right on that one. But for the bosses if you have the junctions set up and you have Invincible Moon with Rinoa and Lionheart with Squall you're more than good.

With most FF games if you want an easy set up its there somewhere. You can MAKE things challenging on them if you want a bigger challenge.

Totally unrelated though...Like my three heart play through on OoT. Didnt get anything that could make me more powerful (other than what I HAD to get to progress).

Im not wrong
I know for a fact that the game doesnt calculate monsters strength due to the magic you have junctioned
only the level.
Pretty sure it mentions this in the Tutorial.

If a T-rexaur has 2 simultaneous turns with a tailswipe, you're dead.
Red dragons are also a bitch yet marlboro is the king when it comes to stupid. He basically does doomtrain on you on turn 1 (bad breath) with even more status ailments it seems.

The fact that you junction magic doesn't make them easy.
Just because you hit 9999 instead of 2000odd won't make a mob with 76,000 HP easy when he can 2shot your whole team.

8 is my favorite, its the game that got me hooked into the series and for that reason it will always be my favorite, plus I loved the card game. Have some cards at home actully.

I still remember I got a demo of 8 from pizza hut one night, and thats what started it all.

heh, pizza hut demo got me hooked to metal gear solid

anyways, first final fantasy game i played all the way through was 7

lets be honest it was the revolution of the series, EVERYONE was talkin about how advanced it was when it came out

i spent a whole summer doing everything there was to do in the game

but when 8 came out, i was definetly syked, i played it all the way thru and was satisfied that it was on par with 7 but i still found the story and gameplay lacking compared to 7

i voted for 7 but its def a close race
