(Spoilers)

Personally i really liked 8s storyline. I believe 7 is an overall better game but I liked the plot of 8 better. The characters were more "human" than in really any other FF at that time. I thought the history of the sorceress was cool and how the main villain wasn't the original sorceress that you saw at the beginning but someone from a different time. Character development was good although they did make Squall quite a bit of a douchebag there for a while. The Gunblade as a weapon was very cool to me and the idea of SEED being mercenaries filled out the story nicely.

8 blew me massively, 7 owned it REAL BAD

Various based opinions that I've seen are related to graphics. What do you think the best story line[d] FF is? What makes it so? Discuss.

Personally - FF3/6 [amer] is my fav. Each character had their own little place and backround in the story, none really drawn out and boring. Kefka is a bad ass villian that set a high bar ranking for bosses. I don't think any other boss is that much rememberable other than Sephiroth.

i have that game...and beat it many times i loved shadow... i found the end of ff3 really easy i oneshot the final boss making it so boring but other than that it was pretty good ff7 is probably my favorite(havent played 9 gotta get a new memory card) and im playin ff12 right now but i cant actually sit there and play for hours like ff7 its just a bit disapointing to me love the rotational camera though.

FF9 is kinda different. The card game they have is not the best, there isn't a lot of summons. The characters are...different, but a decent aspect in any event. I wouldn't mind playing again.

I have it, but why would I want to play an FF that I can kill the final boss in 3-4 turns.

I don't like the Job set up.

FF Mystic Quest was decent. I don't know why people didn't like it that much. Limited spells and weapons, but the storyline was pretty cool. Decent amount of characters for a game like that.
