definitely agreed. best plot and character development, definitely needs to be remade just with better graphics

VII, then VIII, then X

FF 10 was too linear, so you could hardly ever divert off your path. FF7 is the best followed by FF8 for the simple reason the the characters are fully customisable.

Even though VII and X are my favourite FFs, what I love about IX and most of the NES/SNES ones is that each character has a fixed role or follow a job system.

imo the order for top 5 would be 7, 6, 10, 4, tactics
