if you think about it, in the end you will need them all to be lvl'd up accordingly seeing as you need to fight sephiroth with all of them... but, since you are chosing to lvl only 2 others.. i suggest aeris b/c of healing and cid b/c quite possibly the strongest out of the bunch.. IMO

Barrett shits on Vincent.... Especially with his last weapon Missing Score... That with all mastered materia + 4x cut = shit all over Vincent.

Considering how weapons and armor are done and materia, they basically are the same. You put materia on them and they become godly. Done. That's it, no difficulty really, materia is widely available, vastly overpowered and abusable, there really is no reason to use any specific character other than picking the cool looking guys (why do you think everyone chooses Vincent / Tifa?)
